Start the Communicator program as you normally do. You will see the opening menu with "Communicator Functions" at the top. Step 1. Select the third option, "Setup Dialer." You will see the "Setup Dialer Options" dialog box. Step 2. Follow this process to set up the dialer. In the list of "modem types," select the modem you have. The cursor will jump to the next field after you select one. In the list of "Computer types," select your computer. The cursor will jump to the next field. Type the serial number for your software. It is on the registration card at the bottom of the first page. The cursor will jump to the "OK" button. Step 3. When you are finished, click on "OK."
